Oh I am SO excited to be sharing this gorgeous Stone Tower Winery wedding day!! Maxie first contacted me almost TWO years ago! I remember getting her inquiry and thinking, “Oh I hope she books me!!” She was so kind and I loved hers and Matt’s story. We hit it off right away and though she still had to set an official date and book the venue, I had a feeling this was going to be a dream wedding day and I was right! This day was LONG awaited and I’m sure Maxie & Matt would say, it was so worth the two year countdown!!
Maxie put so much thought into every part of hers and Matt’s wedding. The florals were a blend of white peonies, peach Juliet garden roses, and silver dollar eucalyptus in bouquets and all throughout a gorgeous ceremony arch display! Maxie’s floral choices reminded me a little bit of my own wedding bouquets and that had me extra emotional all day! Maxie’s dress was a classic Kleinfeld’s gown and it blew everyone away with its elegance! Maxie has such a classic beauty to her and the dress was just perfect for her in every way. Paired with her updo and gold and pearl hairpiece, it was just stunning. I couldn’t get over how amazing she looked! Matt was so excited to see her and their First Look was SO sweet. The way he looked at her all day was how every girl dreams of being looked at by the love of her life.
These two have tons of portraits from their day and it’s only because 1. They let me suggest an ideal timeline and then they followed it, which meant 2. They chose to share a FIRST LOOK!! I can’t rave enough about how much more laid-back this makes a wedding day and how sweet the moment is between a bride and groom when they get to see each other intimately and privately before hundreds of their guests do. It’s a moment that cannot be matched by walking down the aisle! That time is already special by itself no matter what! Matt & Maxie’s First Look together just shows you how sweet being able to hug and talk to each other on your wedding day before the craziness begins can be!
And then the portraits!! Oh my word. I actually had to spread them out in this post instead of sharing them all back to back like we took them because there are SO MANY! What a DREAM!! I mean, you have a gorgeous venue with stunning landscape and architecture and greenery in a variety of places and you just don’t get the chance to do them all justice when you’re rushing for portraits after the ceremony when your guests are waiting for you at cocktail hour. Matt & Maxie actually EXTENDED their wedding day by 4 hours by sharing a First Look and I don’t know about you, but I loved having as much time as I could with Justin on our wedding day!! Once our guests arrived I’m not sure we were able to talk much because we were so busy visiting and saying hello to everyone. It’s just amazing what a First Look can do and this wedding day was just another testament to how wonderful they are!
I have to give a special shout out to Allison Pearson of Event Studio who was the driving force behind this day’s planning and coordination efforts (oh, and the incredible florals!). It was a breath of fresh air working with Allison – she was simply phenomenal and so professional. Future brides, I’ve never worked with someone I want to recommend so strongly! She is just amazing. Hire her!!
Matt & Maxie, thank you so much for choosing me (and Justin!) to be a part of your wedding day! We had so much fun celebrating with you two and I already can’t wait to hopefully be seeing you again someday soon!! Have the best time on the rest of your honeymoon in Hawaii and enjoy every last photo in your massive wedding gallery!! Xoxo!

It rained briefly on their wedding day but it didn’t affect Matt & Maxie’s joy at all! They were still all smiles! #dreamcouple.
