Where do I begin?! There were SO many special elements that went into this Goodstone Inn wedding day that made it so, SO sweet. First of all… Sarah and Kevin are just about the kindest souls I’ve ever met (actually, they are). There is something so tenderhearted about their love, their spirits… the feeling you get when you’re around them. They are so calming and just so warm! As family members and friends got up to share toasts during their reception, everyone shared how perfect they are for each other solely because they both share the same passion for caring about and loving on others. Sarah and Kevin are both teachers, so really, this all makes perfect sense :) They were meant for each other and being a part of this day with them was truly such an honor and one of the sweetest wedding days I’ve ever captured.
Goodstone Inn is a beautiful venue atop a hill in the countryside of Middleburg, Virginia, and this idyllic setting fit right in with Sarah and Kevin’s laid-back and fun-loving demeanor. Guests mingled around the pool during cocktail hour and took a seat under the wooden rafters of the old stone ruins of the property, all while keeping an eye out for adorable Emma, Sarah and Kevin’s little golden lab puppy. I’m telling you, everything about this day was just PERFECT. Even when a thunderstorm rolled through while Sarah was getting ready, she just looked out the window and smiled because she was marrying the love of her life!
Luckily the weather was gorgeous the rest of the day without a cloud in the sky. It was a gorgeous July day and Sarah and Kevin were so excited to start the rest of their lives together and celebrate with their closest family and friends. Sarah had told me that the two of them wanted an intimate feel to their wedding day and that’s just what they had! The organic, botanical feel of not only the venue but also the florals was just the cherry on top! The vendors were truly a DREAM TEAM between Bluewater Kitchen, the amazing team at Goodstone Inn, and the florist. OHH, the florist!! Holly Chapple, is out of this WORLD… I’ve been dreaming of working with her for years!! I can’t tell you how elegant this entire day was without just diving into the pictures that prove it!! So… without further delay… let’s relive this amazing day!! Congratulations, Sarah & Kevin, and THANK YOU for having me be a part of your wedding day!!!
