Harbour View Wedding Photography | Occoquan Wedding Photographer  ⤖ There is such a cool story behind this one! When I was in second grade, I had a teacher’s aide named Mrs. Dunphy whose name I couldn’t pronounce so I called her “Mrs. Dumfries” … haha! She had a daughter named Kristen as well as a son, both of whom I vaguely remember… well, fast forward 15 years and I get an email from Kristen saying she’s getting married and that she’s been following my work for a while and would love to have me shoot her wedding! It was SO crazy seeing her mom again and how beautiful Kristen is! And seeing her brother all grown up! It was just surreal! Kristen and Keith live in Colorado, so we shot their engagement session two days before their wedding… it was a fun weekend!! They got married at a Woodbridge/Occoquan wedding venue called Harbour View. This venue is right on the water and it’s so unique in the fact that the ceremony is in an open air alcove cut out of the middle of the building! I loved the nautical feel of the entire day and the blues and golds… it was overall just such a laidback and relaxed wedding day! Kristen and Keith, thank you so much for having me as part of your special day! Hope you’re loving the newlywed life!! :)

Keith is military and so he got to wear this in place of a tux… so sharp!Loved the blue and gold flowers… so appropriate for Christ Chapel alumni!! Ceremony time!! Married!!!Kristen’s mom was just glowing with joy the entire day!!Portrait time… :) Kristen, you are stunning… So sweet… And so fun taking pictures by the water!! And then we went up to the balcony… so many places to take pictures at this venue! Annnd back to the water. Look familiar to anyone?! Me and Justin did our styled shoot here this past March!! :) Party time!!! Such a sweet first dance… these two are perfect for each other. Their VW cake! LOVE!! Clearly I had another assistant I wasn’t aware of at this wedding!! Haha!!Sparkler send off! And one last wedding day kiss… off to the rest of their lives!
