The other day at an engagement session, I was taking ring shots and then realized… oh my gosh… I have my own engagement ring now to take pictures of!!! We were at a park in Maryland that had lots of snow on the ground, and I just couldn’t pass up running back out after my couple had left to take some of my own ring shots! AH! I’ve had a few people ask to see a closer view of the ring, so here are a few macro shots! I LOVE the double halo, the round cut center diamond, and all the diamonds that wrap almost all the way around the band. The stones also go around the outside of the halo and and under the ring on the “prongs” that hold up the halo! Oh, and… it’s a Neil Lane ring!! Ahh!!! I didn’t really know much about diamond rings before having one of my own, but I just adore what Justin gave to me. I had very few preferences and really would have taken a 50 cent vending machine ring, but this was just icing on the cake to being engaged to the love of my life. For the past 3 weeks I haven’t been able to stop looking down at my left hand! God has so totally blessed us in the whole way that getting this ring came about, and I feel just like the luckiest girl in the world. I am so grateful and SO happy to have this as a physical reminder of the promise we have made to each other. I love you, Justin! And I can’t wait to marry you!

Most likely just a thin diamond band! It fits right under the halo because the halo is raised high enough! :)
