Last Sunday I pulled into the park extra early to scout around. I was SO excited to meet Katie & Conor for their Rock Creek Park engagement photos and there were so many pretty bright leaves and awesome spots to shoot around this park!! I sat eagerly in my car awaiting for Katie and Conor to arrive, excited as ever to get started! Katie & Conor are a really sweet couple. As they told me the story of how they met and how excited they are that their two families are now joining together, I was reminded of just how much everything a wedding day and marriage represents. These two share a deep love and I can tell they just “get” each other. Their shoot was full of laughs, silliness, and of course, Conor’s hat making an appearance at each spot we shot at :) I love the character they brought to this shoot and how the photos reflect their true selves and who they are together. If they were this cute at their engagement session, I can’t imagine how sweet their wedding day is going to be!! Katie and Conor, thanks for such a fun Fall shoot, and I can’t wait to photograph you again next summer!!
