Ben & Carolyn: A Cherry Blossom Engagement Session

I was so excited when Carolyn mentioned that she wanted to incorporate the cherry blossoms into her & Ben’s engagement session. I was even more excited when she said she was up for waking up early to beat the crowds on a Tuesday morning!! Commuting in rush hour was a little crazy but it was SO worth having the gardens and national mall all to ourselves! I loved walking around our nation’s capital for a couple hours with Ben and Carolyn! They had so many awesome travel stories to share and wisdom to give about getting ready for marriage. Ben even gave me some really, REALLY good ring shopping tips… and told me how to make sure we save money in the right places! Carolyn’s ring is GORGEOUS by the way…! I didn’t have my macro lens on this session with me so the ring shot has been saved for their wedding date in November… and it will soo be worth the wait! It is just breathtaking! Ben and Carolyn, I can’t wait to see how beautiful your wedding day is going to be this Fall.
