Well this is one of those posts that is surreal to type because I’ve known this bride for DECADES! Britney and I were in the same first grade (maybe even kindergarten?!) class together and I can still picture her toothless smile and soft, sweet voice!! I’m so excited to share this wedding day! I first met Katie and Conor last fall for their engagement session in D.C. and they filled me in on how they met, what their families are like, and what they were envisioning for their wedding day almost one year in the future. Well, that day arrived a couple of weeks ago on a warm summer day at Water’s Edge! This venue was the perfect mix of a coastal vibe with modern flair. Katie got ready in a gorgeous ivory-walled bridal suite and walked down the aisle at a ceremony site that faced the blue waters of the Chesapeake Bay.
