I have been so crazy thankful that I have been able to document some my high school’s special events over the past two years since my graduation. Homecomings, proms, and even my little sister’s own graduation night in just a couple of weeks… I can’t believe it!! Now THAT will be an emotional photo shoot! Just two weeks ago I got to be present at her Senior Prom as the photographer, and it was hard enough not tearing up then! Not only have I watched my sister grow up these past years, but I’ve also watched little middle schoolers grow into amazing young men and women about to set off for COLLEGE! I just can’t believe it! As I stood in front of Madigan’s Waterfront Restaurant that Friday night, I had to keep glancing back again when I saw these kids driving themselves arriving their own cars…! It’s just so surreal. CCA Class of 2013 (and ’14!), you all are a good lookin’ group! I hope you had an AMAZING time at Prom Night, and I hope to be there next year capturing the next junior and senior classes!
This beachy, seashell, sailor at sea kinda theme was perfect. Madigan’s upstairs ballroom already looks like it’s something off of a 19th century ship, so the deco fit right in!
Oh, the raffle baskets… probably my favorite thing about my own CCA Prom Nights (besides the delicious buffet)!
Downtown Occoquan offers the prettiest backdrop for outdoor portraits…
I loved these girls’ blue dresses! My favorite color and it looks beautiful on them!Ife, we kept saying how you looked like a Greek goddess with this hair. So pretty =]
…and here is my SISTER!
Loved the flower in your hair…You guys seriously looked so good. I hope all of you girls felt absolutely gorgeous. Because you definitely are!
And then the party started… food and dancing and fun. I hope this year’s Prom was a night to remember for you all. =]
See you in a couple weeks at GRADUATION!
Dear Megan,
This is Lea Vecchioni’s mom, is it still possible to purchase copies of Lea’s prom pics for 2013 and 2012? Also, pics of Graduation 2013?
Thanks, Rita Vecchioni
