Get ready to be blown away by Emily and Adam’s engagement session in Georgetown! I met these two in the city on the day the media announced Biden as the President Elect and whew, what a time! Horns honking, music blasting, people screaming… but for most of their shoot, we got to enjoy the peace and quiet of the charming cobblestone streets and it was so romantic and sweet! I love Em & Adam’s classy Georgetown engagement photos so much, they might be some of my all-time favorites… not just because these two are super photogenic, had such great outfits, and brought the best props (hello cutest dog ever!!), but mostly due to the fact that when you’re with Emily and Adam, you can’t help but have a good time. They’re so kind and Emily is just the sweetest. She came ready to celebrate and that’s just what we did!
Classy Georgetown Engagement Photos
Georgetown holds a really special place in Emily’s and Adam’s hearts and we knew we had to do their engagement session there. It had been a while since I’d shot in Georgetown due to the canal being under construction for several years, but I am honestly kind of sad I don’t get to shoot here more often with how gorgeous it is! I fell in love with the houses, the flower boxes in the window sills, the sunset over the water by the bridge… it was the perfect setting for a late Fall engagement session and these two made it so memorable. Emily shared with me that her love with Adam feels effortless. They have so much fun together and are each other’s best friend… that’s my favorite kind of love story. It was so sweet to capture. And I LOVED that they brought their sweet pup along with them! SO cute.
