It feels SO surreal to be writing this post right now! Way back in March of this year, I remember following all the CLIC conference posts on Instagram and photography blogs and just wishing I could be attending a photography conference someday! And that day came this week!! I had NO idea I’d be attending the CLIC conference until this past weekend. My second shooter Jamie had been planning to go and at the last minute was unable to attend, so she offered her seat to me! She told me that she knew this was where God wanted each of us to be, and that she knew I would get as MUCH as I could out of these two days. And I did!!! I had no idea what to expect and just how much information I would be bringing home with me to apply to my business. It was phenomenal. The speakers were just so enlightening and the styled shoot was SO MUCH FUN! I’m not sure if I’ll ever get the chance to attend another conference like this one… it was just so valuable to my business and my photography and just my overall confidence to grab life by the horns and put my ALL into everything I do. And then Katelyn James took us on a wild 90-minute journey to learning how to perfect POSING! Guys, Katelyn is BORN to teach. She was just so good at keeping us laughing and engaged and furiously jotting down every word she said (or maybe that was just me). I mean… she had me crying just a minute into her presentation. I could talk about how incredible this woman is all day but I’ll stop myself before I start to sound creepy :) But she’s just wonderful! You can bet you’ll be seeing me at a workshop of hers SOON!!!
And look who came to support Katelyn during her talk!!! It was so crazy meeting this little dog I’ve seen so many pictures of in person!! Haha
Then it was time for the styled shoot and to put all those posing tips to practice! Ahh! Kaitlin Holland you are so crazy talented!
