Colby & Krissy’s Akumal, Mexico Destination Wedding

Have you ever been somewhere so amazing that you had to blink three times and pinch yourself on the arm to make sure you weren’t dreaming?! I’m pretty sure that’s what all the guests of Colby and Krissy’s AMAZING destination wedding in Mexico were feeling the entire time they were there in paradise for this wedding!! Along with myself! From the moment I met these two for their consultation, I was SO excited to get on a plane and fly to another country to shoot my first internaitonal wedding! What they didn’t prepare me for was how AWESOME their family and friends are. Like, these are the PARTY PEOPLE. I don’t know how else to describe them. Everyone was so lively, so fun-loving, and so sweet, and Colby’s mom pretty much adopted me the moment I met her (I’ve heard that she does that to pretty much everyone, but we all think we’re special because she makes us feel that way :) From the 70 or so guests that flew in to the gorgeous views of the Caribbean Sea to the delicious Mexican food and drinks, this wedding was truly something most brides only dream about! I am so excited to be sharing these pictures and I often go through them just to relive the amazing day that was Colby and Krissy’s wedding! I am so blessed to have met these wonderful people and to feel a part of the family. Enjoy this little trip back to paradise!!! Xoxo

The girls started the wedding day with a morning at the spa on site at the Dreams Tulum Resort. It was such a relaxing morning!

This is my beautiful friend Michelle, without whom Colby and Krissy might never have heard of me… and I might never have shot their wedding in Mexico!!! Thank you, Michelle! <3

What an amazing, incredible day… and a wedding that no one will ever forget!!! I feel so honored and lucky to have been a part of it! Love you all and I can’t wait to be back in Mexico with everyone again soon!!! :)
