I’m SO excited for today’s post because I get to share my portraits of seven beautiful ladies that love Jesus and love photography! Their beauty just shines through these images and it just reminds me of how much fun it was to get to know them all last month in Washington! It was an honor getting to talk business basics and marketing, branding, and social media techniques with them and to hear about their own businesses and how they’ve grown. And hopefully, they’re able to get some use out of these headshots for their websites and blogs!! :) It was so fun walking around in the somewhat harsh sunlight and showing KyAnn and Kalee how I look for the best light at any type of day, creating foregrounds with Taylor and Emily, and posing with Micaela, Erin, and Claire. I hope they got tons out of this time with me and the two other amazing leaders! I miss you all and I’m praying for each of you by name today! Xoxo!!
Meet KyAnn! She has such a calming presence about her and is so smart. She gets married in something like 11 days and I’m so excited for her! And doesn’t that ring look kinda familiar?! ;)
This is Kalee and she’s SUPER sweet!! She’s so fun and bubbly and just so kind.
Emily is HILARIOUS. Her quick, witty sense of dry humor had me cracking up every day of the workshop! I so much admire her work ethic and her desire to help her business grow. And that SMILE!!!
Taylor! The newlywed Mrs. Kaderly was so so sweet and welcoming and had so much to share about marriage. She dove right in to telling me everything she wished she had known because she cared that much about my soon-to-be newlywed self! And we had JUST met!! She’s so fun and so intelligent. And so pretty.
MICAELA! So, I actually got to spend a good 4 days with this girl before the rest flew in. She helped us prep for the workshop (actually, let’s be honest… I was hiding away with my laptop for two days perfecting my presentations while sweet Micaela helped Kristin get the house ready for the workshop. She’s AMAZING and such a hard worker! And she’s an INSANELY talented photographer!! I miss her so much!
Erin is someone I didn’t get much time to talk to but could tell from the few conversations we had that she has such a caring heart. She’s beautiful on the inside and out and I get the feeling that she’s one of those people that can find deep meaning in every little part of life.
Claire led worship alongside Taylor during the workshop and I’m so thankful for the words she shared in between songs. She has such a real and raw relationship with Jesus and isn’t ashamed to share what’s on her heart. She is so passionate about learning photography and I can’t wait to see how her talents grow! She’s also STUNNING in front of the camera. Like oh my word.
Stay tuned for more photos from the Delight Wedding Workshop coming to the blog soon, including a wedding styled shoot in Chelan, Washington and plenty of behind the scenes from the Delight House during its first ever workshop! :)
