Ohhh this downtown Annapolis engagement session is such a dream!!! You know why?! Because these two are in head over heels in LOOOVE with each other. I texted my best friend (who’s also a photographer) while I was editing this session telling her the same thing. You’ll see it in these images! Thabata and Johnny are just so in love. It made shooting their engagement session so much fun because they just showed up and had fun with each other and they were just their normal, happy, in-love selves. Johnny kept reaching for Thabata and pulling her in closer to him to give her a kiss or just hold her in a hug. It was so sweet. I’m sure this shoot will forever be a favorite because of that!
They went on their first date in Annapolis at a bar by docks and Johnny proposed to Thabata here in this charming, nautical city. (We even recreated that moment at the end of their shoot!) There was no question of where they wanted to have their engagement photos taken. Annapolis was perfect. We had gorgeous weather and we walked all around the city (seriously I think we walked about 2 miles)! We even got on a BOAT! I think that was a first for me during an engagement session!! I just love how this shoot came out so much and I’m so excited to share my favorite photos!
Thabata and Johnny, thank you so much for such a wonderful evening in downtown Annapolis! I can’t wait to see you two again soon and to celebrate your wedding day with you next year!! It’s going to be amazing!!!
