Courtney and Alec had such a gorgeous wedding day at Stone Tower Winery!! I’ve photographed five weddings here at this stunning Leesburg venue now, and each one has been amazing. I can’t rave enough about the staff at Stone Tower… they are just the kindest people and always so helpful, and they care so deeply about their couples. It is truly rare to see such genuinely sweet people working at a wedding venue (it’s a hard job working in the wedding industry!) and it’s always a pleasure being at Stone Tower. I left hoping I will be shooting another wedding here soon!
Elegant Stone Tower Winery Wedding
This day was unforgettable for several reasons. For one, Courtney and Alec felt like old friends the first time I met them. They really made me feel like part of the family their entire wedding day and that made it so much fun! I felt so special. You’ll even see a photo of Alec greeting me with a huge hug. I love that my second shooter captured that moment! It fully shows just how warm and welcoming these two are!!
Secondly, Courtney and Alec chose the one and only Holly Chapple as their wedding florist. Honestly, no other words are needed… it’s Holly Chapple!!! She is INCREDIBLE and her hanging display for ceremony and reception florals at this wedding are absolutely going to blow you away. The guests could not stop talking about it!
Above all these things, this day was just full of heartfelt details! Alec made sure that there was a root beer float bar at their reception because it was his grandpa’s favorite way to spoil and treat his grandkids when they’d come over. He also made sure to give a speech dedicated to his mom, whose battle with cancer has been long but victorious. (You’ll see their tearful Mother & Son dance that pulled at every single guest’s heartstrings!) I also loved their emotional First Look… the earrings Courtney gifted all of her bridesmaids with… the way Alec cried even harder when he saw Courtney for the second time coming down the aisle… it was such a sweet day and I wish I could go back and relive it!!
Thankfully, these two have a wedding gallery with TONS of images from their wedding day to do just that! I had so many favorites while picking out photos for this blog post. You’ll see why! It was a dream wedding full of so many special moments and details and I’m so excited to have gotten to be the one to capture it!
Courtney and Alec, THANK YOU for giving me the honor of capturing your wedding day… it was so special to me! I am wishing you two years and years of happiness together. Congratulations again, and I hope I get to see you soon!!
