Fall Occoquan Engagement Session ⤖ I usually don’t blog on Saturdays, but it’s finals week, I’m still kinda finishing up wedding season deliveries, and I guess this time of year, 1:45pm on a Saturday can turn into the best time to blog!! Who would have thought?! As the season is winding down, I’m left overwhelmed with gratefulness for all of the amazing couples I got to work with this year. Brent and Carol have been friends of mine since I was little, and being a part of this special time in their lives was such a blessing! We met for their engagement session only days before their wedding, and it was wonderful to see how excited the both of them were to join each other in marriage. Brent and Carol had been dating for quite some time, and their wedding had been long anticipated! We met at one of my favorite spots in Occoquan for their shoot that turned out to be filled with lots of laughs and silly jokes. It’s so much fun working with a couple who can laugh at my corny directions when posing them! Haha!! They were all smiles the entire session, which is always the best!! My favorite part was when they let their true dorky sides shine at the end of the shoot in their last outfit. Brent & Carol are huge Disney fans (they got engaged at Disney World and honeymooned there too!), so they had to incorporate some Mickey and Minnie love for their shoot… and some touristy nerdiness!
