When Lindsay contacted me last summer about her 2015 wedding, I remember getting SO excited because 1) she knows my dear friend and past bride, Victoria, and 2) she’s getting married at George Mason’s campus chapel. GMU holds a special place in my heart and I can’t wait to be pulling up there this July for Lindsay & Joey’s wedding! I just loved my time with Lindsay and Joey this past Sunday for their Georgetown engagement session. Justin and I can relate to these two in a way we often can’t relate to other couples and it’s always so nice to be able to have that connection and share the excitement and joy that comes from waiting to be with the one you love for so long. As we walked along the canal, dodging joggers and tourists and fantasizing about cupcakes (which, naturally, ended up resulting in getting some post-engagement session dessert), we shared our anticipation for marriage and dreamed about what living under the same roof might finally be like. Linsday & Joey, I am SO excited for you and I can’t wait for your wedding day to get here! I know it’s going to be such a beautiful day filled with God’s blessings and the love of your family and friends. I can’t wait!!
Just about 5 minutes into their session and these two were already pros.
Gah!! Lindsay you are beautiful…
Favorite!
LOVE Georgetown and all its side streets and pretty buildings! Reminds me just a little bit of some parts of London!
I love Lindsay’s ring… so pretty.
I believe this was right after I said, “hopefully I don’t get hit by a car as I’m taking this…” as I stood in the middle of the street. Anything for the shot…!
I hope you two get a canvas of this one!
And then… it was show time.
This was easily one of my favorite engagement sessions to date. I am so excited for you both! Xoxo
