I don’t even know how I’ve found the time to write up a quick post, but I’m just about to hop in the shower before running to Target to get a few last minute things and then we’ll be off to airport and on our way to GERMANY! This year has been nothing short of an absolute whirlwind. From shooting my busiest wedding season ever to finishing my last semester of business school, I’ve barely had a moment to relax… actually, I’m not sure I’ve taken any time to relax since the summer! I knew that this was just going to be a busy season and I tuckered through it looking forward to this amazing vacation with my family and Justin. The last time I went to Germany, I was 16… Justin and I had just started dating… and I wished nothing more than for Justin to be going with us! And this time, HE IS! It’s just so surreal. Justin’s 22nd birthday is this Friday, our 5 year anniversary is next Tuesday, and then of course Christmas and New Years. We’re all SO excited and just can’t believe this is real life. My dad has been saying we would all spend Christmas in Germany together since I was a little little girl. He also promised me we’d have my first beer together in Germany when I was 16. We haven’t been back over there together since I was 11, so I’ve waited all this time to try beer… yep!!! So that should be interesting! I feel so blessed, grateful, and just overwhelmed with happiness AND joy about this trip. I can’t wait to take a million pictures and have tons of stories to tell when we get back!
So, I’m off until mid-January! After this past year I’m taking a much needed break from editing (got ALL 5 photo shoots from this past weekend edited and delivered by some miracle!), blogging (sorry to everyone who wanted any live blog posts-I’ll try but can’t guarantee!!!), and obviously really any type of work. I’m going to soak up every minute with my dad, my two sisters, and my amazing boyfriend! It’s all just so surreal! Thanks for an amazing year to all of my readers! Please keep us in your prayers for safe travels and minimal speed bumps! Have an AMAZING Christmas and a very happy New Year! See you in 2015!!! :) :)
