It’s amazing how SIMPLE of location for an engagement session can be so pretty and work so well! I always tell my couples to think of places that mean a lot to them or include somewhere they’ve just always wanted to explore together. Elizabeth mentioned Great Falls right away and made sure to tell me how much she loves all the greens!! ME TOO, girl. I think greenery is just beautiful and makes for such a simple, natural backdrop! Then the focus is all on the couple with just enough natural beauty to create an idyllic setting. That’s exactly how Chris and Elizabeth’s Great Falls engagement session went!
Walking around the park, I remembered how just a little over a year ago I was shooting another sweet couple here at this spot on the DAY Justin and I moved into our apartment in McLean. Oh the memories!! Great Falls took me right back to that special season in our lives when we were engaged, planning a wedding, and getting ready to start our life together as husband and wife… and I hope that now anytime Elizabeth and Chris visit Great Falls Park, it takes them back to that time in their lives, too!!
These two will be getting married next Fall and I made sure to tell them just how quickly time is going to fly by once they hit the one year mark. I’m already so excited for their wedding day and can’t wait for it to be here! Until then, these photos should tide us all over!! Isn’t Elizabeth stunning?! She is such a natural beauty! It was apparent from the second we met that she absolutely adores Chris and would do anything for him. I love the joy between these two and how Chris can make Elizabeth laugh with his sarcastic comments… he reminds me a little bit of Justin in that way! Lol!!
