As soon as Thin & Phil told me during their consultation how long they have been together, I felt an instant connection to them. This wedding day was one that was awaited for years and years… and the joy that these two felt to finally be wed can’t even be described! I pulled up to the gorgeous Herrington On The Bay on the shores of Maryland and was blown away by this little venue tucked away by the water. It actually reminded me of the resort I once shot a wedding at in Mexico! Who knew such a fun little beachy venue existed in Maryland?! Thin & Phil had the most perfect wedding here with palm trees and blue water as the backdrop for their big day. My favorite part was walking Thin to her First Look. I had been asking her all morning how it felt to finally be marrying the love of her life and she kept answering, “I think I’m just in shock, it doesn’t feel real!” And then when we walked out of the bridal suite to head to where Phil was waiting to see her in her gown… she stopped and I looked back to notice her wiping tears from her eyes as she said, “I think it just hit me!” I couldn’t help but tear up, too!! Thin, I can only imagine the joy and excitement you felt walking over to your soon-to-be husband… and it was so special to be a part of that moment and to capture it for you! There were so many precious moments throughout their day and so many happy tears were shed, which means it was my favorite kind of wedding day ;) Thin & Phil, thank you SO much for having me be a part of one of the most special days of your life together.
