Historic Old Town Alexandria Engagement Session | Anna & David

I think of the first time I chatted with Anna and remember tears. There wasn’t any sobbing involved or any sad talks really at all, just real life. Anna was interviewing me for a blogging position with this sweet ministry called Delight & Be (that we both love SO much) and over the hour or so that we chatted, we got to know each other a little bit and her encouragement and friendship over the next year and a half of my life would be invaluable. The Lord put us in each other’s lives at *just* the right time and when we Skyped again a few months ago there we were again with teary eyes talking about Jesus and how good the Lord truly is!! It’s hard to describe how sweet and bubbly and genuine Anna is – she’s one of those people you just have to meet in person to fully know how beautiful of a person she is inside & out – so it’s even crazier to see her with David, a perfect match. Their Historic Old Town Alexandria engagement session was just too good for words and putting this blog post together was too much fun. They’re both such caring and kind people who love the Lord and just want to make you feel loved too (David literally wouldn’t let me carry my camera bag around during the shoot – he’s that much of a gentleman).

The southern charm these two possess is unreal and SUCH a gift to even be around let alone get to photograph. I am so, SO honored to capture this season for them and to photograph their wedding day this Fall… it’s going to be beautiful! And likely full of happy tears! I can’t wait. Until then I’ll be swoooooning over how perfect these two are. What a dream!! I loved their outfits, all of the blossoms, and Anna’s gorgeous smile that’s so contagious.
