Historic Old Town Alexandria Springtime Engagement Session | Kaitlin & Josh

Aww I’m so excited to be sharing this engagement session!! I knew Kaitlin was going to be the sweetest bride ever from the second she contacted me. She explained that she and Josh were wanting to have an intimate wedding day in Washington DC with only their closest family and friends. Even though both of their families live across the country, they chose DC for its location and a unique law that says you don’t need a third party officiant for your ceremony! So, their day is going to be unlike any wedding day I’ve shot before! The ceremony and reception are taking place at a gorgeous and quaint Italian restaurant in Georgetown in mid-September. I can’t WAIT. I had so much fun at their historic Old Town Alexandria springtime engagement session, hunting for the first few blossoms of the season. We found them alright!!

Kaitlin made the BEST decision and booked J Morris Flowers as her wedding day florist. I love working with them and loved photographing the bouquet they put together for Kaitlin & Josh’s engagement session! What a gorgeous prop to have! If this is how pretty her engagement session bouquet was, I can only imagine how stunning her wedding day floral elements are going to be. It’s going to be so pretty and so sweet and intimate and romantic! Ahhh! Can you tell I’m excited?!
