It is such a bummer that I wasn’t able to blog this past week. I love blogging. I love writing and getting what I’m feeling out into words, and I love sharing my most recent work with everyone, so it’s really disappointing when I don’t really have a surplus of time to do so. It’s just gotten to THAT point in the semester when things are starting to get crazy with school and I don’t really have extra free time… and the free time I do have, I spent it shooting and editing!! Blogging kind of takes the back burner when it comes to getting out in the field with my camera and taking pictures and preparing them for presentation to my clients. BUT I am taking a little bit of time out of my Sunday afternoon to share a few images from what I’ve been working on!
Last weekend I got the chance to meet with Bradley, one of my good friends from my senior year of high school! Even though he was a freshman and I was getting ready to graduate, we really hit it off in our daily Spanish class and became close friends. I’ll be sharing more of Bradley’s session in his own blog post soon!!
Last weekend I also got to meet with one of my best friends from my childhood, Melissa. We went to the same NURSERY and I can honestly say I don’t know what life is without her in it!! She has always been like family to me, and her parents are like my second parents and her grandma like my grandma. We actually stopped by her PawPaw’s house after our shoot last weekend just to say hi! It was so good seeing him again, and I had a lot of fun taking pictures of Melissa. She just has such a raw look to her that is truly a pleasure to photograph.
I have a LOT more favorites from her shoot and I can’t wait to share them on the blog… it will be coming soon!
For now, I’m off to go start editing some of the pictures from the WEDDING I shot yesterday! More on that later too. Needless to say I have plenty of things to share and not enough time to share them! Please keep me in your prayers for peace of mind during this busy season of my life. It is not easy going to school full time and running a business, but I’ve always been determined to make it happen and still make the work I’m producing GOOD. I’m so thankful every day for the chance to do what I love, and I can’t wait to someday have more time (and resources!) to devote to it even more than I already do. Thanks for stopping by and I hope to be hearing from you about a shoot you’re wanting to do soon!! The leaves are just starting to change and we are going to have some gorgeous backdrops to work with in the coming weeks!! :)
