It was love at first sight. Maybe not quite the head-over-heels, infatuated, obsessive kind of love. But at the very first moment that Jake saw Chloe, he knew he was going to date her. It was one of those things where Jake’s friend was trying to set him up with someone else and Chloe was just there with a friend. Jake and Chloe got to talking and ended up becoming good friends… and we know how the rest of the story goes! I can personally relate to the whole friendship-blossoming-into-romance kinda deal! It has to be one of the most unique and exciting ways that two people can fall in love. And Jake & Chloe’s love for each other just spills out of these images. I was ECSTATIC to meet with them when they were in town last month just after the 4th of July. Chloe is my “new” cousin by marriage and I’ve known her for about four years now. Her and Jake have been together just about the same amount of time that I have been with Justin! We spent a warm Saturday morning catching the sunrise and wandering around the empty nooks and crannies of Old Town Alexandria. We had the entire city to ourselves… soo worth waking up at 4:00am for, and I’m sure Chloe and Jake would agree!! This session is just full of hugs and kisses and a personal peek into Chloe’s and Jake’s lives in the service. July may be over, but this will probably forever be one of my most patriotic shoots. Scroll down & see for yourself! And as always, thanks for checking out the blog :)
P.S. – This summer has been full of traveling and working as a summer camp counselor in my time at home! I haven’t had as much time for blogging as I would have loved to have, but in two weeks I will no longer be working full-time, just back to school two days a week. You can expect to see quite a few senior and family sessions in the coming season, and maybe… just maybe…. a wedding! Stay tuned!!
