Oh I have been SO excited to share Jessica and Jason’s Rocklands Farm wedding day since I first walked into the barn at Rocklands Farm where Jessica was getting ready for her First Look with Jay. From the beginning, Jessica had a vision for her wedding day that would make it not only beautiful through gorgeous decor and details, but also make it memorable for her guests (and her husband!) through thoughtful, personal elements. The sweetest thing was, Jason wanted to do the same for Jessica! The list of items Jay made for the wedding included the ceremony arbor, donut rack, signs, cupcake stand, wood slices… it was SO precious that Jay wanted to show Jessica how much he loved her through these labors of love. And oh, it showed!!! From the tears during their first look, as she walked down the aisle, AND as he read his vows to Jessica and their daughter Lenox, to how excited he was to pose hundreds of bride and groom portraits throughout the day, it was the best witnessing Jay’s love shine through just the way he looked at her… like she was this prized posession, this incredible gift, that he would do anything and everything to take care of and treasure for the rest of his life.
Jessica had a whiskey barrel personalized for Jay as his wedding gift, Jay’s mother crafted Jessica & Jay’s wedding cake for their evening reception later in the day, the bridal party walked down the aisle to “Jessica” by the Allman Brothers (the song Jessica was named after), and Jay’s best friend since kindergarten officiated the ceremony and was the one to marry them. It was the SWEETEST, most thoughtful and personalized day in so many ways… so that means how visually stunning everything was was just a bonus!!! Aimee did an amazing job on the florals, and Rocklands Farm was a gorgeous setting for an open air brunch reception. It was unforgettable… I can only imagine how much fun Jessica and Jay’s wedding guests had celebrating with them!
