There were so many elements about this day that I felt personally connected to because I was reminded of my own relationship and wedding day with Justin! When I met Kristen and Ryan for their engagement session last December, they told me how long they had been together and we determined that we had all been dating for the same amount of time. It was SO special to be engaged alongside brides like Kristen and to share my excitement with her! We were both going to marry the men we’d loved for years! It turns out that we had pretty simliar tastes in wedding planning too because this entire day was giving me flashbacks to our own wedding! The barn on the water, the ceremony under the trees, the blue spring, the blush bridesmaids dresses, the reception under the string lights in the barn… for obvious reasons, I just loved this wedding day!! How could I not with such a sweet bride and groom?!
The special details from this wedding day are almost too numerous to count. From the note Ryan wrote on the bottom of Kristen’s shoe, to the engraved wedding bands that just so happened to have the same saying… because clearly these two know each other very well. Their friendship is what inspires me most. Kristen and Ryan are so comfortable around each other and it’s apparent that at the root of it all, they are each other’s best friends… and I don’t think there is a foundation stronger than that on which to start a marriage besides knowing Jesus. And these two do! As they bowed their heads in prayer together at the altar underneath the willow tree, a breeze blew across the water, leaves rustling in the wind, making the moment so peacefully sweet. Soon they were heading back down the aisle, hand in hand, husband and wife, and Kristen couldn’t hold back the tears as they shared a moment alone back in the barn waiting for their bridal party to join them. This wedding day was full of those types of moments.
From the warm blush-toned color palette to the rustic details with a touch of southern charm, this Pond View Farm wedding was beautiful from start to finish in every single way. Kristen and Ryan, thank you so much for having me be a part of this season… and I am so hoping I get to see you two again soon!!!

WOOOO! All the bridal party and portraits are so good! Love the lighting and colors! Her flowers and her dress are literally the BEST.
I was obsessed with her dress! The back was so pretty!! And YES the flowers were stunning. I love how they were all locally sourced from farmers within a 100 mile radius of Baltimore!! It’s awesome!
