Springfield Missouri Photographer | Larissa of Dress Presh // We sat in the cupcake shop (appropriately called “The Cup”) in downtown Springfield last week. It was a freezing cold Friday with lots of cloud coverage blocking the sunlight from warming up the day. But we were so excited to take portraits of Larissa, an aspiring stylist in Missouri. It’s rare that while I’m traveling I get to “work,” so when it happens, it’s the best thing ever! It’s like a fresh start. A change of scenery with a new shooting environment, new weather, new people… it’s always so great when it happens! So even though our fingers were numb and noses red, we walked away with some phenomenal portraits of Larissa looking like the definition of class and elegance. Her sense of style is so southern and sweet and sophisticated. I think I asked her 10 times if she would help me. Haha!! I’m really so excited to see where Larissa’s passion for styling takes her! She truly is so talented! I’m currently in the process of setting up a Skype date with Larissa so she can give me some tips for my own wardrobe!! :) Check out more of her work here!

We finished up as dusk fell over downtown. Under these theatre lights, we could have shot for hours! The light was phenomenal!! Just see for yourself…!
Favorite! I don’t think I’ve ever gotten a shot that I would describe as editorial, but this one feels like it might be!
