I just photographed this lovely couple’s wedding this past weekend, so I wanted to make sure I shared their Longwood Gardens engagement photos before sharing their gorgeous wedding day on the blog! I met with these two just shortly before they got married and I’m so glad we had the chance to hang out together before their wedding arrived. I loved meeting their beautiful daughter Sophia and exploring the stunningly beautiful grounds of Longwood Gardens with them! I’ve wanted to shoot at this location for years and I’m so grateful it finally happened, thanks to these two!
Longwood Gardens Engagement Photos
We met in the early afternoon, which isn’t typical for engagement sessions (usually golden hour light or sunrise is the norm!), but due to the garden hours and Jill and Jeff’s schedule, we met a little earlier. As a result, their photos are so bright, light and airy! We loved it! Because of the architecture of the gardens and stonework, we had plenty of options that created natural reflectors and allowed shooting in midday sun to be not just a possibility, but a beautiful setting for their engagement session. I love how these photos turned out!
