I knew I was going to love these two from the first interaction I had with Danielle. One of the first things she said about her relationship with Charlie was, “I am so amazed that God blessed me with such a wonderful man that I’ll soon be able to call my husband.” She told me how they’d known each other since they were 7 years old and have countless memories from over the years spent together. How sweet!!! You know I have a soft spot in my heart for couples that have experienced so much life together because that’s what Justin and I experienced ourselves. We went through a lot together before we got engaged and there’s just such a sweetness and anticipation leading up to marriage when you’ve been dating for years and have been looking forward to sharing your life with this person you’ve loved so much for so long. I LOVE that Danielle and Charlie are so clearly each other’s best friend and capturing their love for each other on camera was just a dream!!! Their gorgeous Manassas Battlefield engagement session exactly what my heart needed after losing my 15 and a half year old toy poodle the day before their shoot. Danielle was so so sweet and made sure that I was still up for the shoot and I told her I needed a little sunshine in my life and that’s totally what these two are. They seriously RADIATE joy and it’s obvious that they love each other and the Lord so deeply.
I love Charlie’s silly sense of humor and the way he makes Danielle laugh constantly. That’s one of my favorite qualities about Justin so I know Danielle has a LIFETIME of laughter ahead of her and that makes me so happy. I’m thrilled for these two and I’m so honored to be their wedding photographer. Danielle and Charlie, I hope you know how much sunshine you brought to my day in the midst of losing my little puppy. I will never forget that and I’m so grateful for the time I got to spend with you. I can’t WAIT to capture your wedding day and I can only imagine how beautiful and joyful it’s going to be!! Counting down the days!!!
