Last week I had the opportunity to meet this beautiful girl in one of my favorite cities in Virginia. Old Town Alexandria has always been a go to spot for me when I’m just wanting to explore somewhere pretty, but it was extra cute last week as the start of spring caused blossoms to poke through windowsills, alleyways, and crumbly brick walls. Kate and I sat in a coffee shop a few blocks away from King Street and talked all about editing, branding, website and blog options, time management, and of course, shooting techniques. I loved talking through how I find directional light inside and outdoors and teaching Kate the basics of shooting in manual! Woo hoo!!! That’s always my favorite part! :) Kate, I absolutely loved spending time with you last week. You have such a pure, sweet soul and I can’t wait to follow your work as time goes on! I’m so glad to have gotten to know you a little better through your mentoring session! :)
