Last Tuesday night, I walked into Potomac High School for the first time since I took the SAT in May of my senior year! My sister Mia started going to Potomac in September. It’s her senior year and before this, she had gone to Christ Chapel Academy for most of her life, like I did and like our sister Alexa did, too. But Mia really wanted to experience something different her senior year, so transferred to PHS! I will never forget her coming home on her first day and saying that she liked it! When I was in high school, I was terrified to leave my 9 person senior class and venture out into the “real world” of public school. That happened on a much larger scale when I walked onto George Mason’s campus my first day of freshman year, but anyway :) I’m so glad Mia has had this opportunity and that she has done SO well. She’s committed to a Virginia university for the Fall and that’s so exciting, too!! I’ll be glad to have her closer than Alexa’s 600 mile difference! :) Mia, we are so proud of you, and we can’t wait for graduation day in June!
Mia was recognized for her hard work as the boy’s basketball manager… following in her sister’s footsteps!
And of course, I had to take pictures of the game… hope all the guys loved their action shots! :)
