I’m so excited to share Christine and Mason’s romantic Manassas Battlefield engagement photos! Shortly after booking, Christine described their relationship to me as committed and adventurous. Christine and Mason met at a mutual friend’s summer wedding and I’m having a hard time trying to imagine a more romantic way to meet the love of your life! These two really are quite committed to each other as they have been through two deployments together. (Thank you for your service, Mason!) I have a special place in my heart for our armed forces because two of my best friends growing up had a father who was deployed and I had just a glimpse of how difficult it can be on the family of someone who is serving our country. So, needless to say… I’m really appreciative of not only those who serve but their loved ones who hold down the fort when they’re away. These two really are a great pair!!
I pulled up to one of my favorite locations for their engagement session and knew it was going to be a beautiful shoot when I saw how open the sky was. The battlefield is known for having some of the most gorgeous sunsets around and this time was no different! Christine’s stunning blue dress and gorgeous hair & makeup made it even dreamier! I kept saying, “You guys just look so good together!!” and it’s true! I’m not sure how I always end up with such stunning and sweet couples, but I’m not going to ask any questions!! ;)
