I am SO excited to share this Salamander Resort wedding! Maria and Samear chose to do something a little different for their wedding day. They decided they wanted to celebrate with just their closest family and friends by their sides, without the added stress of a traditionally large wedding day and reception. Well, I think they made a great decision because they truly wined and dined their family and closest friends at Salamander Resort! It was amazing!

I loved the intimate feel of this entire day. Even though I was only there for the afternoon and early evening, it was one of the most unforgettable weddings I’ve ever been a part of because of the gorgeous details, the joy on everyone’s faces, the sweet words shared during toasts, and Maria and Samear’s kindness to me. I really felt like family when it was time for me to leave and if I hadn’t been shooting early in the morning the next day, I would have stayed and enjoyed dinner with everyone. I loved every second of this day!
I have to rave for a second about how amazing Michele of Event Planning DC is! She did a PHENOMENAL job setting up this gorgeous reception, putting the florals together, and making Maria and Samear feel loved! She was also just amazing to work with, and that’s always a highlight of my wedding day when I have vendors I genuinely enjoy being with throughout the day’s events!! Michele, you are incredible and I hope I get to work with you again someday soon!!
