I first met Matt and Colleen for their epic winter engagement session and after spending a few hours with them I knew their wedding day was going to be one of my favorites from the entire year. These two have such humble and welcoming spirits. After we had finished up their engagement session they treated me to a mug of beer at the brewery we were shooting at and that’s how I knew we were meant to be!!! I anticipated a wedding day full of nothing but joy, laughter, and love from their closest family and friends and oh are these two loved. It’s easy to see why. From the second I walked into Colleen’s suite she made me feel like just another one of the girls and that she was happy to have me there celebrating with them!
It was such a sweet morning of getting ready in the gorgeous bridal suite at Tranquility Farm!! This venue reminded me a lot of my own wedding venue because 1) it’s a working farm! 2) there were some stunning rural landscapes as the day’s backdrop! and 3) the getting ready location is the farmhouse, which was beautiful. I was blown away. The light also could not have been better! It was a photographer’s dream and these are some of my favorite getting ready photos of all time!! Then the bride and groom portrait locations… I was speechless. And SO thankful that these two were up for some extra portrait time during dinner/golden hour!
Matt and Colleen, you couldn’t have picked a better place to get married. I know your guests had so much fun and this setting was truly idyllic. It made for some gorgeous portraits, too!! That ceremony backdrop couldn’t be beat… the horses made for such an interesting and unique experience for your guests, and I had the time of my life capturing it all! Thank you so much to all of the incredible vendors that made this day a dream come true.
