Well this is one of those posts that is surreal to type because I’ve known this bride for DECADES! Britney and I were in the same first grade (maybe even kindergarten?!) class together and I can still picture her toothless smile and soft, sweet voice!! It had been years since we’d seen each other but when I saw she was engaged, I hoped that I would somehow get to be a part of her day and here we are! I haven’t had many friends get married in my life yet, so it was SO special capturing these two and getting to know Greg as Britney’s fiance. I was so excited to meet Britney & Greg for their Virginia Beach engagement photos, catch the sunset, and wander around barefoot on the sand as the tide came in! It was gorgeous!!
I can tell from the way Greg slips his arm around Britney’s waist and goes to grab her hand as they walk that the love he feels for her is so deeply genuine and caring. It’s the sweetest thing. Greg is in the Navy and it’s obvious that Britney is SO supportive and unwaveringly loyal to Greg in his (sometimes unpredictable) career. I can tell these two share a love that will withstand the test of time because they are each other’s best friend, providing love, support, and encouragement unconditionally. On top of that, Britney already has a beautiful vision of what she wants her wedding day to look like next summer and I know it’s going to be amazing!! I can’t WAIT! For now, we have these gorgeous engagement photos on the shores of Virginia Beach to tide us over!! ;) Can’t wait to celebrate with you two soon!!
