There are moments in life when you just know that something good is about to happen. You can feel it in your bones, the feeling that the universe has suddenly aligned and everything has fallen perfectly into place. I got this feeling as soon as I snapped the first picture of Marguerite and Bre. We were at one of the most all-American beaches in the country, the sun was setting, casting a gorgeous golden glow, and these two girls were breathtakingly beautiful. Those 15 little minutes before sunset weren’t enough, so we snapped more the next day on the beach as the waves rolled in and the ocean breeze blew through. Here’s a little peek at what this time in our lives is like: we are young, we can be wild, but most importantly of all, we are free. Happy Independence Day to all of my readers. I hope that one day I get to spend an evening with you on a beach somewhere, taking pictures and making the rest of the world melt away. Marguerite did my hair… in three minutes flat. This girl’s got TALENT. Can I bring her along to all of my sessions to make everyone feel as beautiful as I did?! She would not let me go back inside until she took some pictures of me and Justin, too… so sweet. Marg is going to be a senior this year, so these pictures are kinda sorta her senior portraits… she came to the beach PREPARED with a pretty white dress and her model face PERFECTED! I had so many favorites from just a few minutes with her and her best friend, Bre… So sorry if this blog is extra long!! Remember these faces for when they’re gracing the cover of Vogue someday… ;) The rest of the group was calling us up for dinner, but I managed to snap one picture of just one of the many AMAZING sunsets we had that week… and Marguerite took a few more of me to top off the evening. There is nothing like sunset light! And the next day on the beach, these girls pulled off even more magic!! Everyone was staring because I’m sure they wondered which company was having their models do a photo shoot on the beach that day! Ahhh, I just love these… can’t wait to take pictures of these two again!
And of course Justin had to jump in and grace us with his presence. Let’s be honest, it’s obvious where these girls learned their posing from…..
A special thank you to the Glasbrenner family for taking me along to another wonderful week in Wildwood. It’s so easy to understand why y’all keep coming back year after year… there is just something about Wildwood Crest that makes you feel like you’re going back in time to simpler days, when motels outnumbered hotels and cameras still shot film. I can’t wait to go back.
BAHAHAHA @ Justin. No, but seriously, these girls are SO beautiful! AH! Vogue is so in their futures!
